Refund policy

Since Jenil's Sabras Masala deals in premium consumable foods—including dry spices and perishable chutneys—we must maintain strict health, hygiene, and food safety standards. To protect all our customers, we do not accept standard returns or exchanges (such as "change of mind") on any of our food products once they have left our facility.

However, we stand by the quality of our products and your satisfaction is important. Here is our policy for handling exceptions.

When Are You Eligible for a Refund or Replacement?

We will happily provide a full refund or a free replacement if your order meets any of the following conditions:

  • Damaged in Transit: The spice pouch is visibly torn, or the chutney jar is broken, cracked, or leaking upon arrival.
  • Compromised Seal: The airtight safety seal on the product is broken before you open it.
  • Expired Product: The item delivered has passed its printed expiry date.
  • Wrong Item: You received a different masala or chutney than what you ordered.

The Claim Process

Because wet items like chutneys are highly perishable, time is critical. If you experience any of the issues listed above, you must follow this exact process:

  1. Notify Us Immediately: Contact our support team within 24 hours of receiving your delivery. Claims regarding perishable chutneys made after 24 hours cannot be honored.
  2. Provide Proof: Email our support team with your order number and clear photographs (or an unboxing video) clearly showing the damaged, defective, or incorrect item, as well as the shipping label.
  3. Do Not Discard: Please hold onto the product until our team has resolved the issue, as we may need specific batch numbers printed on the packaging to investigate quality control.
  4. Resolution: Our team will review your claim within 1-2 business days. If approved, you will be given the choice of a replacement shipped to you at no extra cost, or a full refund for the affected items.

Refund Timeline

If you opt for a refund, the approved amount will be processed directly back to your original method of payment (UPI, credit/debit card, or net banking).

  • Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the funds to reflect in your bank account, as processing times vary between financial institutions.
  • We do not offer cash refunds.
  • If your original order included a shipping fee, that fee is non-refundable unless the entire order was damaged or incorrect.
